Everyone Needs Something To Hold On To

Aaron C. Hollis Many talk about the filmic quality of albums and their ability to tell a story, even if one is not inherently there. This album exemplifies that very concept for me with the emotive, rough around the edges, lyrics and folk tradition undercurrents. The journey taken with these songs seems familiar at first but subtly grows throughout the album. I cannot recommend it enough. Favorite track: This River.
